My name is Colin Luckman and I've been playing and teaching the guitar for over 20 years, during which time I have helped many people to become the best guitarist they can possibly be.
I am a full member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors(RGT) and am fully ENHANCED CRB checked.
As an RGT qualified guitar teacher, lessons can focus on building self esteem and confidence through a performance focused curriculum.
Many Studies have shown the benefit of a Musical Education for children and young people
Weekly 60 minute lessons are ideal if you have a lot of practice time available during the week and want to progress fast.
Fortnightly 60 minute lessons are great for students who have been playing for a while but don't have as much time to dedicate to practice between lessons.
The musical styles that I teach include anything that you would like to play, It is your lesson.
If you have an interest in any particular band or musician I will do my best to provide you with material that you are interested in!

I had not received any lessons prior to being taught by colin who was recommended to me during 2009. Colin and I met every week for a lesson which lasted approximately one hour. Following the lesson, Colin would provide me with songs to practice and if I required his help between lessons he was always available to speak to on the telephone.
Through the lessons I have received from Colin, I am now able to play several songs on my guitar and I continue to contact Colin for further tuition as and when required.
